An Evening of Awareness, Adventure and Inspiration.
OUR MISSION:
WHAT THIS FUNDRAISER WILL SUPPORT:
We are a young organization with a lot of potential and gaining momentum. A proven campaign and strong supporters are allowing us to blaze a new trail in the world of adaptive athletics. The Birdies for the Blind Fundraiser will be supporting our 50 Schools / 50 States Campaign as well as future Endeavor 2 Connect programs, Adventure Teams, Research & Development and much more.
Steve Baskis shares stories of strength, resilience & courage to a group of students at Gainesville middle School.

Q: Is my ticket purchase tax deductible?
A: Most of it. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Tax ID 47-2832303. The actual value of the dinner and any golf package is not deductible. Soon after your purchase we will send you a tax receipt with detailed information about the amount that may be deductible.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Both the golf and dinner event are casual attire.
Q: I’m not a golfer, can I still attend?
A: Absolutely! The golf packages and dinner are open to golfers and non-golfers. The event is also kid friendly.
Q: What’s for Dinner?
A: There will be something for everyone. Three stations that will be available are:
- Salad Station: Three types of lettuce, assorted toppings and dressings.
- Pasta Station: Choice of Penne, Tortellini and Linguine Pasta with Alfredo, Pesto and Marinara Sauces. Additional items to mix in with your favorite sauce include Diced Chicken, Pancetta, Italian Sausage, Shrimp, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Broccoli, Spinach, Peppers, Garlic, Capers, Tomato and Freshly Grated Parmesan.
- Carving Station: Roasted Salt Crust Prime Rib with Peppercorn Demi-Glace, Horseradish and Warm Silver Dollar Rolls. Oven Roasted Turkey with Cranberry sauce.
Q: What time does the event start?
A: Guest Arrival is 6:30pm on June 22, 2017.
Cocktails will be served from 6:30pm-7:15pm
Dinner: 7:30pm-9:00pm
Presentations: 8:00pm-9:15pm

A: Yes, reservations must be made by June 11,2017.
The Venue
Unique and beautifully appointed, the Standard Club is complete with amenities at its 300 plus acres of Audubon-designated natural habitat and sanctuary location. Regardless of the situation, whether it be lunch, dinner or a corporate event The Standard Club always offers premier service in a warm and comfortable environment. Our dedicated staff abides by the highest standards of service and hospitality. The clubhouse is very versatile in being able to meet the needs of all our members. Dining in the Formal Dining Room is an elegant experience with striking views of the course and practice area. Our menu speaks for itself as we offer nothing but the finest cuisine to our members.
