Athletics & Recreation
Our Athletics and Recreation Department is responsible for communicating, organizing & operating athletic and recreational endeavors. We are planning on setting up various programs in the near future to help raise awareness of the importance of athletics and recreation in the adaptive community.
The Blind Endeavors Adventure Sports Team (B.E.A.S.T.) consists of a group of motivated adaptive athletes, guides and supporters that pursue adventurous endeavors. The B.E.A.S.T. may go on to climb the 7 summits, kayak the Grand Canyon or Traverse the Saharan Desert.
Endeavor 2 Connect provides an individual the opportunity to witness and experience adaptive athletics and recreation first hand. We connect people to participate or volunteer with one of the many organizations we are partnered with. The endeavor could include climbing a mountain in Colorado, kayaking in the Florida Keys or nordic skiing in Wisconsin. Participants engage in the activities and share their story with the rest of the world.
