About Blind Endeavors

The Blind Endeavors Foundation was founded by Steve Baskis in 2014 with a mission to raise awareness through adventure and exploration. To not only share great stories of human resilience, but to increase general awareness about the accessible technology, medical advancements and adaptive recreation that exist in our world today for people with physical and mental disabilities.

By raising awareness through media and educational presentations, we aim to get more people outside to enjoy what life has to offer and to inspire others to develop new technology and techniques that will benefit all those with disabilities…

Explore the possibilities…

Set out to challenge, endure and accomplish physical feats across the world…

Strive to develop and forge physical and mental strength, resilience and courage…

Spread awareness, inspire others and refine systems & techniques for adaptive athletes…

Objectives:

– Capture & document adaptive athletes experiences on film & audio.

– Produce articles and blog posts on experiences & technology used in recreation, academics & medicine.

– Network, build & develop a discussion about the adaptive world we live in.

– Provide adaptive athletes with knowledge, resources and connections for all of their future athletic & recreation endeavors.

– Deliver presentations around the country and world to increase general awareness about adaptive athletics & the accessible world.
